Wildfires Threaten Capone Heirlooms

As the wildfire season rages on (seemingly without end), homeowners are increasingly concerned about the danger these blazes pose to their property and valuables. One notable instance involves the estate of a Chicago icon: infamous mobster Al Capone. The “untouchable” is survived by three granddaughters, whose Northern California homes are threatened by the increasing fire danger in the area.  The Witherell’s auction of his personal effects — including jewelry, curios, and firearms — opens on October 8th.
