The state finances may benefit from the revenue from legalized marijuana but according to the Chicago Tribune auto insurance premiums may increase. In the four states that were among the first to legalize pot – Colorado, Nevada, Oregon and Washington – crashes were up by as much as 6% compared with neighboring states without legalized recreational weed.
